Cristofano di Gano Guidini
Life
Cristofano di Gano Guidini (ca 1345–1410) was a follower of St. Catherine of Siena and one of the translators of her works into Latin, along with Stefano Maconi and Raymond of Capua. Guidini also had an Italian version made of St. Birgitta’s works, of which the oldest preserved manuscripts are in Siena, Biblioteca Comunale degli Intronati, I.V.25/26, a. 1399.
